School Policy
At Kilimani bookpark we are committed to safeguarding the welfare of the students. We have therefore developed policies that are constantly refined to reflect the values of the school.
Student is expected and agrees to:
- Finish all assignments and turn them in according to deadlines.
- Attend school every day unless they produce substantial reason for not attending.
- Follow the school and classroom rules so that all can learn and be safe. ( no use of phones during class period).
- Ask tutor questions when they do not understand something.
- Routinely talk to their parents about school activity.
- Give their parents any notes/communication sent by the teacher(s) and/or school.
- Recognize and respect differences in opinion and treating everyone like you want them to treat you.
Parent(s)/guardian is/are expected and agrees to:
- Monitor their son/daughter(s) academic progress and communicate with school on regular basis about their progress.
- Routinely talk to their son/daughter(s) about school and its activities.
- Encourage good study habits and reinforce good behavior in school and at home.
- Pay fees on time and provide for necessary study materials for smooth study of their students.
Parent(s)/guardian is/are expected and agrees to:
- Provide engaging experience that produce learning.
- Encourage positive self-concept in all students.
- Keep parents informed about progress/ or concerns.
- Identify techniques and materials that work best for student(s).
- Use proven research based strategies to help all students meet their academic potential.
- Provide healthy and safe environment for the student.
- Remain steadfast professional.
- Support professional development that promotes the best practice standards
- Provide support and instructional direction to both students and parents.
